Types of Hair Falls
Cyberlox
Cyberlox are spacey, cybernetic looking pieces that are light and easy to wear. They shimmer, catch light, and are often times UV reactive. Our cyberlox consist of a material know as tubular crinoline, as well as rexlace, ribbons, and foam. These falls are very full and fun!
Glow sticks can be added around the base of each fall, furthering that robotic look, and shooting light down the shafts of the crin. Glowsticks are available at $1.00 a pair.
Our cyberlox are great for concerts, festivals, raves, and nightclubs. They are perfect for blacklight environments. These can be custom designed in sports team colors for football games, rallies, and other events where you want to show spirit. This is a great look for anytime you want a fun, colorful, over the top look.
Wool
These falls are made with different types of craft wool and yarns. These have a sleeker, more organic feel. They are comfortable and easy to style and are still relatively light. These falls are great for gradient looks. They can be done in such a wide assortment of colors, varying from bright and colorful, to monochromatic.
These falls are well suited to nightclubs, concerts, and festivals, as well as drum circles, themed costumes, and holidays. They are cozy, and comfortable enough to be worn even in everyday occasions.
Swiss Twists
These twist falls are made from different types of synthetic hair. They can give either a lovely, natural, free spirited look; can be made with vivid bright colors, or a combination of both.
These falls are slightly heavier than the types listed above. However, they can still be worn without difficulty, and really stay put. The length of these can vary, and prices will correlate. However, the long versions of these falls truly show the beauty of them.
Fleece Falls
Fleece falls are a great way to have a wool roving look, without the wait time, and expense that comes along with roving. These falls are very full, light, cozy, and warm. Fleece falls are the perfect solution for those on a budget. Roving is expensive and takes time to create. While lots of love and care go into our fleece falls, the hands on time per “dread” is much less, and therefore they can be manufactured much quicker. Our time is money, and when we save time, you save dough.
These falls can be made in limitless colors, combinations, and even prints. Stripes, polka dots, leopard print, swirls, flames, and tie-dye are all possible. They can be made thinner and sleeker for a smooth look, or can be made super full, for an exaggerated outfit. A simple strip of fleece is also included to use as a tie back headband to help conceal your real hair, as well as a few loose “dreads” to use as a fringe.
These falls have a soft, animation type quality to them that suit them to cosplay, costumes, themed parties and holidays. They are also comfortable and stylish enough for the nightlife scene. Their cozy nature also suits them to outdoor events that would usually leave you a bit chilly. Not only are they some of our more affordable falls, they are in some ways the most versatile. These can be permanently fixed to elastic, or can be threaded thru. The advantage to threading these dreads thru is the ability to disassemble and reassemble them with other colors. Pull out blue one night and replace it with purple. Add stripes to your red and black for an added punch. “Add on” fleece is available.
